Therapy That Supports How You Think, Feel & Function

Holding it all together takes a toll. Staying productive, managing responsibilities, and meeting expectations can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and drained, even when everything looks fine on the outside.
Living with sadness, anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD, or high-functioning autism often means carrying a hidden load that others do not see. This can lead to real and consequential impairments in focus, emotional regulation, relationships, and self-worth, even when you appear to be functioning well.
Therapy offers a space to step out of constant effort and into real support. With the right tools and a compassionate approach, it is possible to reduce overwhelm, build healthier patterns, and create a life that feels more manageable and more like your own.
Evidenced Based Therapies
I use a thoughtful blend of evidence-based therapies that support both how you think and how you feel, while also honoring who you are as a person. My work is grounded in:

Cognitive
behavioral Therapy (CBT)
To help you recognize and reshape patterns in your thinking that contribute to self-doubt, overwhelm, or emotional shutdown. We explore beliefs like:

-
“If I’m not perfect, I’ll disappoint people.”
-
“I have to be productive to be worthy.”
-
“No one really understands me.”
-
"I have to avoid conflict to protect myself."

Together, we challenge those patterns and practice kinder, more flexible ways of thinking without losing your authenticity.

Dialectical
behavioral Therapy (DBT)
For emotional regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance. These skills are especially helpful when your nervous system is stuck on overdrive or when you're cycling between overwhelm and burnout. DBT helps with:

-
Managing emotional intensity
-
Learning to pause instead of react
-
Staying grounded in daily life
-
Strengthening self-compassion

Together, we will build & practice these skills so you can feel more grounded, emotionally steady, equipped to navigate life with greater ease.

Person Centered &
Solution Focused Therapy
This approach combines unconditional positive regard with practical, strengths-based support. You will be met with empathy and respect without pressure to perform or explain.
Therapy becomes a space where you are supported as you are, with room to grow at your own pace. At the same time, we will focus on what is working and where you want to go.

Together, we will identify meaningful goals and small, sustainable steps that help you move forward with clarity and self trust.
What to Expect in Therapy
Therapy with me is structured, supportive, and led by your needs. Each session offers a steady space to pause, reflect, and focus on what matters most to you.

We typically begin by checking in on what has been going well whether it is a moment of progress, pride, or simply showing up. From there, we will review current symptoms, stressors, time use, and coping strategies.
You set the focus for the session, and we will work together based on what you would like to talk about and need that day, whether that is validation, perspective shifting, problem solving, skill building, accountability, goal setting, or simply having space to talk things through.

Sessions often end by reviewing your self-care plan for the week ahead. This might include mindfulness, journaling, boundary setting, movement, or other personalized tools to help you stay grounded between sessions.
